GMG guidelines are non-prescriptive documents that offer best practices, guidance on the implementation of new technologies, or develop industry alignment. Through industry collaboration, they aim to identify key considerations, good practices, and questions on the topic, enabling operational improvements for safe, sustainable, and productive mines. Once the guideline is reviewed by the project group, working group members review and approve the draft prior to its approval by the Board.
