GMG-CIM Forum: Sudbury | Jun 12 – Jun 13

Join us at our Sudbury forum on June 12-13, held in conjunction with CIM. It is an opportunity to explore the future of mining in the context of one of Canada’s top mining regions.

Critical topics at this event will include underground innovation with a special focus on autonomous mining, the electric mine and the use of AI. Participants will hear case studies and presentations on these topics and delve into them at panel discussions. Amid all this enrichment will be interactive breakout sessions where participants will strategize on collaboration opportunities and how to approach the future of mining.

Why Sudbury?

Sudbury, Ontario, Canada is a centre for mining production, research, training and innovation. Located in the geologically rich Sudbury Basin, the city grew out of mining. Mining, particularly underground mining, is still key to Sudbury’s economy. Mining companies Glencore, Vale and Newmont Goldcorp are among several with operations in Sudbury that will be represented at this forum.
