Subject: Autonomous Mining Workshop
Date: March 26
Location: Mobilaris, Lulea, Sweden
GMG is hosting a series of workshops on autonomous mining to enable global alignment on collaboration priorities to assist more rapid deployment of autonomous systems. The first workshop will be March 26 in Lulea, Sweden. All stakeholders are invited to participate.
The workshop objective is to facilitate the critical conversations required to identify key collaboration focus areas for autonomous systems implementation.
Participants will identify opportunities for advancement, major challenges to overcome, and develop a collaboration roadmap to define priorities, partners and solutions required to enable development.
This workshop is intended for operators, mining technology leaders, OEMs, OTMs, consultants, and regulators – all stakeholders with an interest and expertise in autonomous mining systems. This will be a focused work meeting. Your participation is requested to ensure relevancy of the outcomes and to determine a holistic collaboration strategy for autonomous mining.
The Autonomous Mining Working Group aims to create a common vision of automation in the mining industry. This group brings together stakeholders from around the world to share knowledge and best practices, work with regulators and ease workforce requirements of the future. The group has two active projects: a high-level implementation guideline that is now in its final stages and a functional safety guideline in the content generation stage.
This workshop takes place in Luleå, Sweden, just before our GMG Luleå Forum.
An agenda and any documentation will be sent to all who register.
