Join us! Work together and share experiences. The Edmonton Forum will include leading experts, case studies from those that are paving new ways, and peer-to-peer working sessions to develop plans focused on:

  • Breaking the mold to enable industry transformation, by getting past the talk and into really allowing people to think, try, and do things differently.
  • Driving united action, from leveraging the power of our research partners to building new models of co-development.
  • Constructing the new foundation for mining, by actual progress on the standards, frameworks and platforms to manage and make best use of our data.
  • Unlocking new pathways to attract and nurture the diverse, skilled workforce that will run tomorrow’s industry.

Specifically, the Edmonton Forum will dive deep into issues that are top of mind for operators, such as:

  • Deployment of Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS) in operating mines and how they integrate with fleet management systems and autonomous haulage systems (AHS).
  • Productivity and equipment performance improvements, including industry KPIs and benchmarking best practices.
  • Workforce challenges: What’s missing in attracting and supporting the best talent, and how can we harness industry’s collective knowledge to address these gaps?

Mining leaders will drive open discussions on their progress and needs when it comes to electrification and decarbonization, autonomous mining, implementation of new tech to achieve value, and how to do things differently to achieve better results. These companies’ leaders are actively seeking increased collaboration opportunities and like-focused people from other companies to work with. The Forum will be an opportunity to define those new plans.
