GMG Perth Forum | Igniting Action: Building the Mines of the Future — Today
Published: June 12,2024August 13-14, 2024 | Perth, Australia
The global drive toward new technology adoption for the transformation of the mining industry remains top priority, and is a complex challenge that requires broad industry collaboration to achieve. This year’s Perth Forum is focusing on a number of the enablers. Rather than focusing on the technology itself, we will be working toward an action plan to support the development of a new paradigm for mining, to rethink our approaches and create the ecosystem and structures required to support the impending changes in operations.
Over two days, hear from leading experts, leverage case studies from those that are paving new ways, and work peer-to-peer to develop the plans focusing on:
- Breaking the mould to enable industry transformation, by getting past the talk and into really allowing people to think, try, and do things differently
- Driving united action, from leveraging the power of our research partners to building new models of co-development
- Constructing the new foundation for mining, by actual progress on the standards, frameworks and platforms to manage and make best use of our data
- Unlocking new pathways to attract and nurture the diverse, skilled workforce that will run tomorrow’s industry
Define the new reality. Build it together. Crack the data challenge. The right people will shape the best industry.
