Partner Event: MM-ISAC Incident Response Training Series

MM-ISAC will be launching the first session in our new Incident Response Training Series, focused specifically on the mining and metals sector.

When a cyber incident impacts mining operations, technical expertise alone is not enough. Effective response requires clear leadership, defined roles, coordinated communications, and structured decision-making. This hands-on training teaches participants how to apply the Incident Command System (ICS) to cyber incidents in mining and metals environments.

Participants will learn:

• ICS fundamentals for cyber incident response
• Incident Command roles and responsibilities
• The Planning “P” and Incident Action Planning
• Response coordination across IT, OT, and leadership teams
• Practical tabletop exercises based on mining and metals scenarios

This training is designed for cybersecurity professionals, operational technology personnel, incident responders, risk managers, business continuity practitioners, and operational leaders.
