GMG Team Sharna Glover

Sharna Glover

Sharna Glover is a believer in the power of innovation and technology to transform the resources industry for the better.

As a technology leader in BHP, she is shaping the future of autonomous operations in mining to unlock profound improvements in safety, productivity, and the stewardship of our natural resources.

Sharna is at her best leading teams tasked with transformational change. The common thread throughout her 18 years at BHP in roles across mining’s value chain has been her ability to create a compelling vision and inspire teams to deliver new ways of working.

Sharna is an Advisory Board Member of the University of Queensland’s School of Chemical Engineering and an Ambassador for Opportunity International, a non-profit whose mission is to end global poverty. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Newcastle.

Away from the boardroom or mine site, you will find her with her husband David, three children and … her dressage horses.
