GMG Webinar – Swiping Through Dating Disaster and AI Heartbreak:
The Start of a Love Story

Swiping Through Dating Disaster and AI HeartbreakThe Start of a Love Story, Rasmus Tammia, Program Manager – Artificial Intelligence in Mining, Boliden Mines

Navigating today’s online dating landscape can take a toll on a person’s self-esteem and confidence. This is especially true for hopeless romantics who often tend to be overly optimistic; overthink everything, while also ignoring red flags. In many cases, they fall in love with the idea of a person instead of accepting the harsh and brutal truth. Why is this topic relevant when introducing and developing AI solutions in the mining industry? What can the mining industry learn from hopeless romantics? How should our conservative industry navigate the rapidly evolving nature of the technology known as artificial intelligence? These are some of the questions that are covered in the webinar “Swiping Through Dating Disasters and AI Heartbreak: The Start of a Love Story,” given by Rasmus Tammia, who is head of Boliden’s AI Research Program.
