Workshop: Underground Mine Communications Infrastructure

This section includes considerations for operation and maintenance after the mine design and system management considerations are accounted for. 

With a new structure for the operations and maintenance section in place, the purpose of this workshop is to work through the content to determine needs. This can include determining inaccuracies in the content and evaluate what is missing. Some of the content in the section includes: 

• Establishing performance targets (KPIs and time usage model considerations)
• Monitoring against targets
• Maintaining (spare parts, people, service level agreements, planning and execution, scheduled vs unscheduled, etc.)
• Change management (cybersecurity considerations)
• Continuous improvements
