Workshop: Underground Mine Communications Infrastructure

Installation and commissioning have varying characteristics and consideration based on the selected communications infrastructure (I.e., radio, Wi-Fi, LTE). Regardless of which is selected, the backbone is an overarching consideration.  

The purpose of this workshop is for subject matter experts in underground communication installation and commissioning to review content throughout the section. Some of the content in the section includes: 

• Implementing technology infrastructure
• Overall approach to technology delivery and maintenance
• Backbone
• Wi-Fi
• LTE
